Housing Completions Fell in February: The number of units completed posted their biggest monthly decline in more than three years. Housing completions, which lag starts of new construction by six months, fell 9.5% to a seasonally adjusted annual rate of 1.292 million--the lowest level since July, Commerce Department figures show. It was the biggest decline since October, 1991. In January, completions rose a revised 2.9%; the figure had previously been reported as a 1.6% gain. Compared to a year earlier, February completions fell 3.4%.
