Menendezes’ Retrial in Van Nuys

The retrial in the Menendez brothers murder case will be held at the Van Nuys courthouse, the judge in the case decided Tuesday.
The lawyers in the case had asked Van Nuys Superior Court Judge Stanley M. Weisberg to move the case to Downtown Los Angeles. But Weisberg turned them down, saying the Van Nuys courthouse--where the brothers’ first trial was held--was suitable.
The retrial is scheduled to begin June 12.
