Falcon Announces Joint Venture in India: Falcon International, a division of Los Angeles-based Falcon Holding Group, said it plans to acquire 100,000 cable subscribers in the greater Delhi area of India. Falcon’s partner is the Hindustan Times Ltd., India’s largest English-language newspaper. The Indian government approved the venture to buy and operate cable systems throughout the country.
