Biosource International, a Camarillo supplier of immunological test kits, reported a net loss of $347,304 for the fiscal year that ended Dec. 31, compared to net income of $405,496 during the previous 12-month period.
The loss, which the company attributed to one-time consolidation of the company’s Camarillo operations and executive compensation costs, came on 1994 sales of $6.2 million, a 14% improvement over 1993 sales of $5.5 million.
During the fourth quarter, Biosource had a loss of $758,908, compared to a net loss of $13,425 during the same quarter a year earlier. Quarterly revenues of $1.37 million marked a slight decrease from 1993 fourth quarter sales of $1.4 million.
