Company Town : 3 at Samuel Goldwyn Get New Positions

Samuel Goldwyn Co. continued to revamp its production area, promoting Julie Glucksman, Patrick Lynn and Sam Dickerman to new jobs at the independent film company.

Glucksman was named director of development, Lynn will be manager of production and acquisitions and Dickerman will be story editor.

The moves come since the recent hiring of former Twentieth Century Fox executive Steven Rabiner as vice president of production.

* MTV: Music Television announced the promotion of John Shea to senior vice president of marketing.

* Reid Cline has been named vice president of operations for Walt Disney Studios. In a separate announcement, Kenneth E. Newman was named vice president and eastern regional counsel for Walt Disney Co.

* Recording Industry Assn. of America has promoted John H. Ganoe to vice president of member services.

* Julie Resh has joined Four Point Entertainment as vice president of television production and development.
