Savanna, Senior
Baseball/Pitcher
Savanna Coach Hack Mitchell had a feeling Hartman was ready for a strong performance against Brea Olinda Friday. “We knew in the bullpen he was going to have a good day,” Mitchell said. “We didn’t know it was going to be quite so good.” Hartman, a 6-foot-1 right-hander, couldn’t have been much better: He pitched a no-hitter. He struck out 14, including the side in the sixth and seventh innings. Hartman, the Rebels’ No. 4 hitter, also was three for five during the week.
