Ed Ratledge
Fountain Valley, Senior
Volleyball/Outside hitter
Ratledge, 6 feet 8, is more mobile this season and because of that he is giving opponents fits. He had 15 kills and seven aces in a three-game victory over El Toro and 10 kills in a three-game victory over Corona del Mar. Then he helped the Barons to the Division I title of the Orange County Championships. He had 45 kills in six best-of-three matches, including 10 in a two-game sweep of Laguna Beach in the title match. He also had five solo blocks against the Artists. “Ed was just dominant at the net,†Fountain Valley Coach Lori Biller said.
