High School Video Equipment Stolen
About $2,500 worth of equipment was stolen from the video journalism class at Granada Hills High School over the weekend, said Ann Hill, the coordinator of the school’s math/science/technology magnet.
Two of the class’s three camcorders along with batteries and battery packs were taken from the classroom, said Hill. The file cabinets and teacher’s desk also seemed to have been broken into, she said.
“The kids were so upset,†said Hill, recalling how the students had been raising money to buy a fourth camcorder. “Now, they are left with (almost) nothing.â€
