NEWPORT BEACH : League to Hold Forum on Bankruptcy Impact

The Newport-Mesa chapter of the League of Women Voters of Orange Coast will sponsor a forum Wednesday featuring Newport Beach and Costa Mesa city officials, who will discuss the impact of the Orange County bankruptcy on the two cities.
City Manager Kevin J. Murphy and his Costa Mesa counterpart, Allan L. Roeder, will be speaking at the Oasis Senior Center, 800 Marguerite Ave.
Each will make a presentation about anticipated effects of the bankruptcy and possible settlement. They will also be available to answer questions from the audience.
