LANCASTER — A 34-year-old Lancaster woman was killed when she was struck by two cars as she stood in the center of a road, authorities said Thursday.
Sylvia Jacobo was in the center of 20th Street West between Avenue J-8 and Avenue K about 7 p.m. Wednesday when she was hit by a northbound car driven by Jennifer Snow, 18, of Lancaster, said Sgt. Robert Denham of the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department.
Then a second car, driven by Mary Puscas, 68, of Lancaster also hit Jacobo, Denham said.
The incident is under investigation and no charges have been filed, Denham said.
