KEY BISCAYNE, Fla. — Bob Charles shot even-par 71, one of only two rounds of par or better on a blustery Saturday, and moved into a tie with Tom Wargo at 141 after two rounds of the Royal Caribbean Classic senior golf tournament.
On a day better suited to windsurfing on nearby Biscayne Bay, with winds gusting to 42 m.p.h., Wargo was even par for the day and ahead by two strokes when he left an approach at 18 buried in a greenside bunker. He needed two shots to get out of the trap and two-putted for double bogey and a 73.
