Injury Sidelines Hagman for Season
Cal State Northridge freshman guard Sarah Hagman will miss the remainder of the basketball season because of a partial tear in the anterior cruciate ligament in her left knee, an athletic department spokesperson said Friday.
Hagman, from Crescenta Valley High, will be out seven to nine months after undergoing reconstructive surgery.
Hagman played in 15 of the Matadors’ 16 games, missing last Saturday’s against Southern Utah because of the injury. She averaged 4.0 points and 1.6 rebounds and had made eight of 16 three-point shots.
She set a Southern Section record last season with 121 three-point baskets.
