Israeli soldiers broke into a Palestinian college dormitory, smashing windows and doors and arresting 30 students, school officials said. The army said those arrested belong to militant Islamic groups. The raid at the College of Science and Technology at Abu Dis, in the Israeli-occupied West Bank, was part of Israel’s crackdown on Muslim extremists after a suicide bombing in which the death toll has risen to 20. Students said soldiers scaled ladders and broke windows into the dormitory at 1 a.m. Troops also searched the college library and two campus mosques, taking books, posters and magazines, students said.
