The Bullfrogs have hired Chris McSorley, older brother of King defenseman Marty McSorley, director of player personnel, Coach Grant Sonier said.
McSorley returns to the Bullfrogs after coaching the Buffalo Stampede to the Roller Hockey International championship last season. In 1993, McSorley coached the Bullfrogs to the RHI championship in the league’s inaugural season. The RHI season begins in June.
Sophomore Everett Ratleff, a reserve guard at Long Beach State, will be sidelined at least five games after suffering a sprained right ankle in practice. A nephew of former Long Beach All-American guard Ed Ratleff, Everett averages 5.3 points and 1.8 assists.
