COLLEGE ROUNDUP : Point Loma Nazarene Upsets Concordia

Annie Beddoes had 18 points and 12 rebounds as host Point Loma Nazarene upset Concordia, 84-78, in a Golden State Athletic Conference game Tuesday night.
The Crusaders (8-12, 1-4) broke up a tight game with a 12-0 run late in the second half.
Concordia’s Michelle Kravik had 29 points. The Eagles (12-9, 3-2) shot 39%; Point Loma shot 55%.
In another Golden State Athletic Conference game:
Fresno Pacific 78, Southern California College 59--Heather Brannan had 15 points to lead SCC (11-8, 3-1).
In nonconference women’s basketball:
Chapman 106, Whittier 83--Twelve players scored for Chapman, led by Alana Conyers’ 17 points.
In Golden State Athletic Conference men’s basketball:
Point Loma Nazarene 67, Concordia 66--Terrance Johnson’s running three-pointer at the buzzer gave Point Loma (9-9, 1-4) the victory. Craig Martin had 22 points for Concordia (17-4, 2-3).
Fresno Pacific 99, Southern California College 68--Kevin Carlson had 16 points and Chauncey Woolridge scored 12 for Southern California College (12-10, 2-3).
