Price of Civilization
When I smelled a cloud of gas over my house recently, I called 911. The woman who answered politely and identified herself switched me to the Fire Department. A man answered the phone immediately, asked me a few questions, and told me someone would be sent out.
Fifteen minutes later two friendly, professional firemen arrived to look for the source of the gas cloud. When they told me there was no danger, I felt a lot better.
