CULVER CITY : City Closes Its Store After Depleting Stock

City Backlot, a retail store that has sold old street signs, parking meters and other merchandise to benefit the Chamber of Commerce, has closed.
Chamber President Steve Rose said he closed the retail storefront in Fox Hills Mall on Jan. 12 because he ran out of city merchandise. He said he hopes to reopen the store in April.
The chamber owned and ran the store.
