Blue About House of Blues
Recently I had a very unhappy visit to the House of Blues and would like people to be warned (because I was not) that HOB tapes some of its shows for the Turner Broadcast Superstation.
Nowhere in the newspaper ads, nor on the tickets, nor over the telephone when I ordered the tickets was I informed that I might be inconvenienced by the filming of that night’s show. There were bright lights on the audience all night, even when the acts were not on stage. At times the lights were even brighter on the audience than on the stage!
I have no objections to filming these acts, but House of Blues ought to be straightforward with its customers and let them know when we will have to suffer the inconvenience of a filming.
