THOUSAND OAKS : Applicants Sought for Pollution Control
- Share via
The Thousand Oaks City Council is taking applications from residents for the Ventura County Air Pollution Control District Advisory Committee.
Formerly a 15-member body appointed by the Board of Supervisors, the committee is being revised to include representatives from each of the county’s 10 cities.
The committee reviews proposed rules from the Air Pollution Control District’s staff members prior to public hearings. It occasionally considers other air-related issues.
Appointments will be for four years. Interested residents should submit applications to the city clerk by Feb. 1.
