HUNTINGTON BEACH : Applicants Sought for City Council Seat
The City Council is accepting applications through Jan. 9 from residents interested in serving the two years remaining in the council term of Jim Silva, who was elected to the county Board of Supervisors last month. Silva will take his supervisorial seat Tuesday.
Council applicants must be residents of Huntington Beach. The City Council could appoint someone to take Silva’s vacated seat as soon as Jan. 17.
