MALIBU : City Gets More Time to Adopt General Plan
The city of Malibu has received an extension of not more than a year to adopt its General Plan, but that extension will be revoked if state officials are dissatisfied with the city’s progress toward a completed document.
The city must submit a copy of a completed draft General Plan to the state Office of Planning and Research by Jan. 13 for review. The extension will be revoked Feb. 1 if the state is not satisfied that the city is making substantial progress toward adopting the plan.
