SEASON AT A GLANCE: Skieresz has won 12 of 13 races, including six in a row since finishing third in the individual sweepstakes race of the Mt. San Antonio College Invitational on Oct. 22. Included in that streak are her third consecutive victories in the Ventura County, Marmonte League and Southern Section championships.

WEEK AT A GLANCE: Skieresz won the Division II race of the State championships at Fresno’s Woodward Park on Saturday to add to her Division I title from last year. Although her time of 18 minutes 12 seconds over the 5,000-meter course was slower than she expected, Skieresz was “real happy” with her second consecutive state championship.
