The UCLA women’s basketball team lost its season opener to North Carolina State, 58-55, Friday night at UCLA.
The Bruins had a chance to send the game into overtime, but Ricarda Kuypers’ three-pointer from the top of the key fell short at the buzzer.
Kellie Bennett led the Bruins with 13 points and seven rebounds.
