Matt Bradbury scored three goals to lead Cal State Fullerton over Loyola Marymount, 4-3, in men’s nonconference soccer.
After Bradbury scored to give the Titans (12-6-2) a 3-0 lead, the Lions cut the lead to one with five minutes left to play, scoring two goals in one minute.
Tony Jaime, a reserve, gave Fullerton its final goal in the 89th minute. Jorge Rodriguez scored his second goal for Loyola Marymount in the game’s final minute.
ITA Southern California Regional--In singles, Janet Johnson, Antje Fritschi and Nina Basica of UC Irvine and Natalie Leles and Farrah Tierney of Long Beach State all won their second-round qualifying matches at UC Irvine.
In doubles, Cal State Fullerton’s Kara Kolb and Denise Wilson defeated Tiffany Licuanan and Mary Morr of UC Irvine in the second round. Also qualifying were the 49ers’ Leles and Tierney and the Anteaters’ Fritschi and Johnson.
