Military: Ceremony to Honor U.S. Pilot

Erik Scott Mounsey, the U.S. pilot who died when his Blackhawk helicopter was shot down by friendly fire over the Persian Gulf in April, will be honored Friday in a ceremony in Culver City.
The ceremony, scheduled for 11 a.m. at Culver City Park, will include a tree-planting and the dedication of a plaque. The Culver City resident is survived by his wife, Kaye, and their 2-year-old daughter.
