Chatsworth Seeded 2nd in City 4-A Volleyball Playoffs

Chatsworth High, co-champion of the Northwest Valley Conference, was seeded second and will play host to Narbonne in the first round of the City Section 4-A Division girls’ volleyball playoffs.
Van Nuys, which successfully petitioned the City Section to move from 3-A to 4-A earlier this season, is seeded seventh and will play host to University.
Other first-round 4-A games involving area teams include Birmingham at Roosevelt, Kennedy at Bell and Huntington Park against No. 4-seeded El Camino Real at Birmingham High.
Sylmar is seeded second in the 3-A playoffs and will play host to Eagle Rock. Third-seeded Canoga Park will play host to Belmont, Bravo plays at Poly and Monroe will visit Fremont in other 3-A first-round matchups.
The Kennedy and Monroe matches are scheduled for 3 p.m. Monday, with all other matches at 7.
