Rexhall Industries Profits Rise 75% in 3rd Quarter

Rexhall Industries Inc., a Santa Clarita builder of mobile homes, said its earnings for the third quarter that ended Sept. 30 were $513,000, up 75% from $293,000 in the same quarter a year earlier. Sales for the third quarter were $14.02 million, up 80% from $7.8 million the previous year.
For its nine-month period, the company posted earnings of $1.57 million, more than double the $741,000 in earnings reported in the first nine months of 1993. The gain was on a 71% revenue surge to $35.9 million from $20.96 million in the first nine months of last year.
The company attributed the results for all three quarters to the improving local economy and to expansion of its dealership network.
