Interactive: Author Neal Stephenson has signed a deal with Viacom New Media to develop an interactive version of his cyber-punk novel “Snow Crash.” The multimedia rights to the book--a cult favorite among the techno-elite, who also happen to be the target demographic for high-end CD-ROM games--were hotly pursued by a number of software companies.
