Platinum Software Corp.: The Irvine financial software company said it lost $59 million, or $4.80 a share, for the fiscal year ended June 30, which included a restructuring charge of $7 million and a $17-million charge to settle litigation. That compared to a loss of $17 million, or $1.68 a share, for fiscal 1993. Revenue rose to $53 million from $28 million. For its fourth quarter, the company recorded a loss of $34 million, or $2.72 a share, compared to a loss of $16 million, or $1.33 a share, for the same period a year earlier. Three-month revenue increased 44% to $13 million from $9 million.
