FALL ALBUM ROUNDUP : In Brief

* * * Peter Gabriel, “Secret World Live,” Geffen. Gabriel is a masterful showman, and this two-disc set, recorded in Italy last year, manages to capture a lot of the vibrant spirit he brings to the concert stage. The singer and his skilled band energetically stretch the grooves of tunes drawn largely from “US” and “So.” Not as much fun as being there, but close enough to satisfy.
