Cal State Northridge Beats Houston in Women’s Volleyball
Aimee Stone had 20 kills and Missy Clements added 19 Friday as the Cal State Northridge women’s volleyball team defeated Houston, 8-15, 15-5, 11-15, 15-11, 15-3, in its opening match of the Northern Arizona tournament.
Heather Anderson and Ana Kristich each had 13 kills for Northridge (5-4), which had dropped a five-game match to Idaho on Wednesday.
Setter Kathleen Shannon had a career-high 59 assists and a team-high 21 digs for the Matadors, who will play Memphis State and Northern Arizona in today’s matches.
