* The Democratic Party Campaign ’94 Kick-off is planned from 10 a.m. to noon Saturday at campaign headquarters at 5522 Van Nuys Blvd., Sherman Oaks. Assemblyman Richard Katz (D-Sylmar), Assemblywoman Barbara Friedman (D-North Hollywood) and state Sen. Herschel Rosenthal (D-Los Angeles) are expected to be in attendance.
