HUNTINGTON BEACH : Downtown Building Wins Design Award
The annual Pacific Coast Builders Conference this summer awarded Huntington Beach’s downtown Oceanview Promenade its grand award in best office/business building under the 100,000-square-foot category.
The judges felt that the building borrowed from the forms of the municipal pier and related strongly to adjacent buildings.
The building was the project of Abdelmuti Development Co. It is the fifth city redevelopment project in the downtown area to be honored.
Projects considered for the award come from all over the world.
