SAN FERNANDO — Mick Cady, who led Notre Dame High to a Southern Section boys’ basketball championship two seasons ago, will replace Dick Crowell at San Fernando, Crowell said Thursday.
Cady led Notre Dame to the Division III-A championship in 1993, then resigned at season’s end.
“I think he’ll be good,” Crowell said. “He knows what he’s doing. But I do think he’ll find it’s a little different here.”
Notre Dame is Southern Section parochial school; San Fernando is a City Section public school.
Cady could not be reached for comment.
