FULLERTON : Roads to Be Closed for Six Months
Skyline Drive, Ladera Vista Drive and the north tip of Acacia Avenue will be closed to the public for about six months beginning July 6.
Construction crews will be grading and realigning Skyline and Ladera Vista as part of the Unocal Corp.’s efforts to sell custom-home lots along those streets, officials said.
In 1991, the City Council gave Unocal the nod to develop the 300-acre East Coyote Hills area. Development plans call for the realignment of the roads and a public 18-hole golf course just south of Bastanchury Road between Brea and State College boulevards.
The golf course and the realigned roads are scheduled to open in January, a Unocal official said.
