Restaurant Fire Causes Heavy Damage
A pre-dawn fire ripped through a Mexican restaurant in Canoga Park on Wednesday morning, causing heavy damage but no injuries, authorities said.
The fire, which caused an estimated $200,000 in damage, broke out about 5:15 a.m. at Don Diego’s No. 2 Restaurant, 7226 Topanga Canyon Blvd., said Los Angeles Fire Department spokesman Mike Little.
Firefighters doused the blaze in about 45 minutes, authorities said.
The cause of the fire is under investigation, Little said.
