Paradise Found: Tavarua Island, the surfer’s paradise featured in “Endless Summer II,” has strong Southern California ties. For those who haven’t seen the movie, Tavarua is your typical island paradise, complete with beautiful beaches, crystal clear water and, according to surfers, some of the Pacific Ocean’s best waves.

Laguna Beach resident Mark Price and a handful of other Southern Californians own the Tavarua Island Co., a privately held company that owns a resort on the island and a Santa Barbara-based travel company.
