HIGH SCHOOL TENNIS / SOUTHERN SECTION BOYS’ FINALS

Calabasas 13 2/3, Santa Ynez 7 1/3--The Coyotes (17-4) won their first Southern Section championship since 1986 after winning eight of nine doubles matches in the Division IV final at Agoura High.

Calabasas’ No. 1 doubles team of Anapam Mishra and Phil Abramson swept three matches, dropping only two games, as did the No. 2 team of Darren Miller and Jason Arashaben.

Calabasas (17-4) won five section titles in six years from 1981-86 in Division 2-A and 3-A.
