A fire started by children playing with a lighter damaged a house and forced the evacuation of three families who were living there, fire officials said.
The fire started about 10:27 a.m. in a bedroom at the home in the 200 block of East Water Street, officials said. No injuries were reported.
Investigators calculated the damages at about $30,000 to $60,000 to the structure and $30,000 to the contents. Seventeen firefighters took about 10 minutes to contain the blaze, officials said.
The Red Cross provided the families with rooms at a local hotel until it could be determined if the house was habitable.
