PANORAMA CITY : Hospitals Merge in Bid for Efficiency
- Share via
Panorama and San Fernando community hospitals completed a merger Friday, changing the name on both facilities to Mission Community Hospitals.
The hospitals will operate under a two-campus structure, with the San Fernando facility, 700 Chatsworth Drive, specializing in psychiatric care, and the Panorama City facility, 14850 Roscoe Blvd., providing full primary health care.
The merger was brought about by a need to fill empty hospital beds and reduce duplication of services, according to Mission Community Hospitals Chief Executive Officer David Green.
