Titans Sweep Softball Games

FULLERTON — Cal State Fullerton swept a Big West Conference softball doubleheader with UC Santa Barbara Sunday at Titan Softball Complex.
The Titans (28-25, 17-9) won the first game, 9-1, scoring two runs with no outs in the bottom of the sixth to end the game on the mercy rule. They won the second game, 3-1. Heidi Robertson had three hits and two runs batted in and Shannon Dolan had two hits and two RBIs in the first game for the Titans. Jennifer Mortensen (17-14) pitched a three-hitter in the first game.
Trinity Johnson (11-10) gave up two hits in the second game.
Santa Barbara dropped to 23-27, 10-16.
