BRIEFLY : Environment: City Offers Composting Class

The city of Los Angeles will conduct a free demonstration on composting from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. today at Armstrong’s Home and Garden Place, 11321 W. Pico Blvd.
The city’s new compost product, Topgro, will be discussed.
The compost, made from yard trimmings, can be used as fertilizer for lawns and gardens.
