Esperanza Clinches Volleyball Title
PLACENTIA — Mark Alleman and Mike Allison each had 17 kills Friday to help Esperanza defeat Valencia, 15-7, 15-11, 15-10, and clinch its fourth consecutive Empire League championship.
Jason Klems added 16 kills for the Aztecs (12-2, 8-0), who are ranked sixth in the county.
