GARDEN GROVE — Toni Mascarenas pitched a two-hitter with five strikeouts as seventh-ranked Pacifica beat host Rancho Alamitos, 1-0, Thursday in a Garden Grove League softball game.
It was the sixth shutout for Mascarenas.
Autumn Gwinner singled, stole second and third, and scored on a throwing error for Pacifica (14-5-1, 8-1-1).
Julie Littman had two singles for Rancho Alamitos (10-6, 5-5).
