SAN DIEGO--Secondhand treasures await at the Berkeley Rummage sale, a floating event on the upper deck of Berkeley, an 1898 ferryboat. 9 a.m.-4 p.m. Saturday and next Sunday. The Berkeley is at the Embarcadero, 1306 N. Harbor Drive. (619) 234-9153.
ARVIN--Poppies, lupine and other seasonal blooms are celebrated at the Arvin Wildflower Festival, Saturday and next Sunday at DiGiorgio Park, Hill Street and Haven Drive. A parade is at 10 a.m. Saturday (starting at Bear Mountain Boulevard and Campus Drive), followed by the festival, 11 a.m.-6 p.m. Saturday; noon-6 p.m. Sunday. (805) 854-2265.
LAGUNA BEACH--The Laguna Beach Classic 10K/5K/1K Race is next Sunday, starting at the Sawdust Festival grounds, 935 Laguna Canyon Road. $20, 5K and 10K registration; $15, 1K.
