Three men and one 17-year-old have been arrested on suspicion of raping a 13-year-old girl during a home invasion robbery in Diamond Bar last week, authorities said.
Los Angeles police officers spotted a stolen van connected with the robbery about 11:30 p.m. Sunday and followed it to a residence in the 3000 block of West Van Buren Street. Sheriff’s Deputy George Ducoulombier said the officers arrested the four who were in the van: Clint Jacob, 18, Gilbert Galvez, 23, Owen Lino, 20, and a 17-year-old juvenile, all of Los Angeles. They are being held in lieu of $50,000 bail each.
About 1:30 a.m. last Friday, three armed men ransacked a home on Shaded Wood Lane in Diamond Bar, tying up the family and raping the girl. All three escaped by abandoning their vehicles and fleeing on foot after pursuit by sheriff’s deputies.
