Winnetka Does Not Have Identity Crisis

* Contrary to Marie Bloomfield’s letter (Feb. 9), Winnetka most certainly is not a nonentity. Founded in 1922, Winnetka was a community long before Canoga Park existed. It was founded by Charles Weeks, who established a colony based on poultry farming. We even have a Winnetka Post Office (Zip Code 91306) located on Winnetka Avenue.
