BRIEFLY : Arts: Actress Named to Head Pepperdine Guild
Actress Barbara Billingsley has been named president of Pepperdine University’s Center for the Arts Guild.
Billingsley is best known for her role as June Cleaver in the television series “Leave It To Beaver.†The longtime Malibu resident recently completed taping for a “Murphy Brown†episode.
The Center for the Art Guild was founded last year to ensure support of the university’s arts programs. The guild funds special theater performances, art exhibitions and museum tours for school children.
