Dip in Inflation Reported: Inflation in the nation’s 35 largest cities eased to 23.3% in January compared to the year-earlier period, down from 23.9% in December, the official China News Service reported. Annual growth in retail sales slowed to 22% in January after a 35.2% increase in December, the agency said.
