Hycor Reports 36% Profit Decline
Hycor Biomedical Inc., a medical and diagnostic products company based in Irvine, reported a 36% decline in profit for 1993, to $2.3 million, or 26 cents a share, from $3.6 million, or 41 cents a share, for 1992. Revenue fell to $24.2 million from $27.4 million. For the fourth quarter, net income totaled $778,000, or 9 cents a share, down 34% from the $1.2 million, or 14 cents a share, reported a year ago. Revenue declined to $5.9 million from $7.1 million.
